OPI Little Peanuts set

Hi guys!! I finally got my hands on OPI's awesome new Halloween 2014 collection, Peanuts!! Released just in time to watch The Great Pumpkin too! I got the mini set which is called "Little Peanuts" and comes with some nail decals.

Look how cute these are!!

First up, "Good Grief!"
    Artificial light

OPI describes it as "The sunny yellow of Charlie Brown's favourite t-shirt". My pic shows it a bit more bright than it actually is, it is EXACTLY the same colour as his shirt, it's great. First coat was a bit streaky, but the second fixed that up.

Next is "To Be Or Not To Beagle"
    Artificial light
(This is colour accurate)

OPI describes this as "Snoopys happy dance of colour in a joyful glitter". Remember his happy dance?! So cute! This glitter topper contains black micro, hex, and bars along with multicoloured hexagon glitters. One coat over Good Grief!

Here's "Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?
    Artificial light

OPI's description is "This stormy black is no match for Lucy's raven hair". When u applied the first coat, it reminded me of a jelly polish, it was opaque in two coats though and dried really fast. This will be my new go to black!

Lastly,"Where's My Blanket???"
    Artificial light

Here's how OPI describes this glitter topper, "Linus awaits the Great Pumpkin in this orange and black glitter". I really like this glitter, great for Halloween but also can be worn year round in my opinion. It contains micro black and hex glitters along with orange and yellow hexagons. I did one coat over a white base plus some dabbing to spread out the coloured glitters a bit better.

I really love this collection, and if you're a Peanuts fan You need this!!
Thanks for stopping by!

OPI Little Northies Set

Hey guys! The other day I went to my local beauty supply for some seche vite and of course I had to leave with some polish! I grabbed the mini set of 4 polishes from the Nordic fall/winter Collection. It comes with "My Dogsled Is A Hybrid","Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm?","My Voive Is A Little Norse" and "How Great Is Your Dane?" It's 3 creams and 1 glitter.

Here's "My Dogsled Is A Hybrid"
    Artificial light

Opi describes it as a creamy sea green, and it's gorgeous!! Application and dry time was good. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

Here's "Do You Have This Color In Stock-holm?"
    Artificial light
    Natural light

Opi describes this a an icy blue violet. It's looks blue and purple in different lighting, definitely my fave from this set! I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

This is "My Voice Is A Little Norse"
    Artificial light

Opi describes this as a prismatic super-shimmer. I used 4 coats on bare nails with one coat of topcoat. I suggest using 2 because this is topcoat thirsty! Besides that, it's a super fun polish that would be great for a night out!

Lastly, "How Great Is Your Dane?"
    Artificial light
    Shade

Opi describes this a cinnamon coffee brown. It's a nice rich colour for fall! Application was super creamy and dry time was good. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

What do y'all think of these minis and the others from the collection?

Thanks for stopping by!

OPI Glitter Off

Hey guys! Today I'm reviewing OPI 's Glitter Off base coat. I heard it's being discontinued, so if you don't have it yet and want it, grab it when you see it!
I'm sure most of you have been hearing a lot of buzz lately about using Elmer's white glue as a base coat before applying a dense glitter polish for easy, peel off removal. That's pretty much what Glitter Off is, it doesn't smell like polish. It smells exactly like white glue.

So this is what it looks like as it's drying. My pinky nail is completely dry. The drying seem to begin at the tip of the nail. That's why it looks like I have major shrinkage going on lol. It took about 3 minutes to dry completely.

Here's a comparison of the brush next to a normal brush from opi

Instructions say not to use base coat under this and I recomend that as well. I tried that and wrinkled the Glitter Off. It was really weird!

Here it is completely dry. ( please excuse my stained nails! )

I used Essie's Ignite The Night. It's a really dense glitter that's opaque in three coats. It came off super easy, I used a orange stick to pick at the side of the nail and it pretty much popped off! (PS- this is an old pic I was saving for this blog post, that's why my nail shapes don't match!)

Hope that was helpful!

Opi Ford Mustang

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been super busy. I finally found 2 polishes from OPI 's Ford Mustnag collection!! I was so excited when I seen them lol

First is "Girls Love Ponies"
    Shade
    Sunlight

Guys... Best.pink.evaaa!! Seriously haven't been so happy with a pink polish in a while! Formula and dry time was good, nice and creamy. 3 coats plus topcoat for the photos above.

Lastly, "Queen Of The Road"
    Sunlight
    Macro shot

This polish is stunning! It looks blackish but when I removed it, the pad was dark green lol so I'm stumped! It also has these beautiful specks in it. It dries somewhat matte. This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

I'm hoping to grab the rest of this collection soon! What do you think of it?

OPI Coca-Cola Collection

Hey guys! Today I have the 10 Pack Of Style from OPI (Coca-Cola Collection). It came with 8 of the polishes out of the collection except one (the one inspired by Fanta Orange). It also came with a nail envy and top coat. It came in a pretty neat box as well.
All photos were taken indoors with 2 coats of polish plus topcoat.

    Front
    Back

It also has a flap that opens and gives a description of the polishes.

This set came with one duochrome, one metallic, one jelly, and 5 creams.

Here's "Coca-Cola Red"

So this was inspired by Coca-Cola! It's a beautiful classic red. If you're a red lover, this is a must have!! Application was super creamy.

Here's "Today I Accomplished Zero"

This is inspired by Coke Zero and is a fun black jelly with red glitters. For a jelly, this built up very nicely in just 2 coats. Application was great as well.

This is "My Signature is "DC""

This here was inspired by Diet Coke.
This a silver almost foil like polish with silver shimmer. I'm not a huge fan of these polishes but dry time was really nice.

Next is "You're So Vain-illa"

This is inspired by Vanilla Coke. I know I always say this but this is my fave beige at the moment! Everything about this is perfect.

This is "Sorry I'm Fizzy Today"

(Please excuse the nick :( ) This, too, was inspired by Vanilla Coke. Don't exactly know why though lol. Gorgeous creamy pink. I had a bit of application issues suck as streaking but nothing worth not buying this polish if you like it!

This one is "A Grape Affair"

Inspired by Fanta Grape, this is a vampy purple. It's quite lovely. In darker lighting it could be mistaken for black for sure. Awesome creamy formula.

Here's "Green On The Runway"

This was inspired by Sprite and is also a duochrome! I normally despise duochromes ( I don't know why) but there was something about this one that I love. It shifts to brown under certain lighting and was really hard to capture on camera. It wasn't streaky either which I love.

Lastly, "Get Cherried Away"

This is inspired by Cherry Coke. It's a beautiful deep purple/red but formula was a bit thin. Next time I will use three coats for sure!

What do you guys think of this collection? If you've tried them, what are your faves? Thanks for stopping by!

OPI Dutch 'ya Just Love OPI? And Lincoln Park After Midnight

Hey y'all! Today I have a couple OPI manis for ya, "Dutch 'ya Just Love OPI?" And "Lincoln Park After Midnight". I'm a sucker for dark, vampy colours so these were perf!

Here's Lincoln Park After Dark

    Indoor lighting

This is a deep purple, almost black looking in some lighting. It includes a beautiful shimmer.
Sorry for the weird hand poses, it was hard to capture the shimmer! I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos above.

This is Dutch 'ya Just Love OPI?

    Indoor lighting

I seriously LOVE this one! It's a grape-y purple with gold and red shimmer. Application for for both polishes have me no problems. I used to coats plus topcoat for these photos.
I was lucky enough to grab these for $5 from a hair salon :)

Hope you enjoyed!
