Glam Polish and Jindie Nails

Hello! I have more swatches for you from 2 great indie companies, Glam Polish and Jindie Nails!

First up is "Indigo" from Glam Polish.
    Natural light.

This is such a gorgeous polish! This a purple base with pink shimmer, pink and turquoise dot and micro glitters! This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Great formula, no glitter fishing and a great dry time!

I have two swatches from Jindie Nails, first is "Water 4 Elephants"

    Natural light.

The name for this is perfect! Grey base with blue and green glitters. Pictured is one coat no topcoat. I probably should've used two, but ill do that another day lol!

This is "Midnight Rainbow".

    Natural light.

Wowza!! Look at those gorgeous dot glitters! (I'm such a sucker!) This is a black jelly with multi-coloured glitter and circles. Absolutely NO fishing at all!!!

Trelly Polish

Hi everyone! I've been so lucky to try my first glitter bomb Trelly Polish's courtesy of my nail mail buddy!

First up is "Pool Toys"
   Natural light.

Look at that! This is one coat over OPI "Skull And Glossbones" and a coat of Seche Vite. I'm in love with these glitters, the black and blue circles, butterflies, and black rectangles are my fave! I left the bottle upside down for a few minutes and didn't have to fish for ANY glitter!

Here's "Monster Mash"
    Natural light.

This is soo fun!! The purple and grey glitters are awesome! This is one generous coat over Wet n Wild Wild Shine "Teal Slowly And See" and a coat of Seche Vite. Such a fun and funky combo!
These were super easy to work with considering the amount of glitter in each bottle. If you're interested in purchasing from Cassie, AKA Trelly Polish, you can find her on Instagram @trellypolish or go to her site trellypolish.bigcartel.com

OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection

Hey everyone! With Christmas fast approaching, I thought I'd share some of the new OPI's from the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection!

First up is "Underneath The Mistletoe"
    Natural light.

A gorgeous red with silver glitter. This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

One of my favourites "I Snow You Love Me"
    Artificial light.

This is big circle holo glitters in a clear base. Pictured is one coat over "Underneath The Mistletoe". I had to leave the bottle upside down for a few minutes to reduce the amount of "glitter fishing".

And this is a full hand of individually placed glitters from "I Snow You Love Me"

Now are some of the Liquid Sands!

This is "Emotions"
    Artificial light.

This is a black liquid sad with black hex glitters. It's got some sparkle to it too! This is two coats.

Next is "Kiss Me At Midnight"
    Artificial light.

    Natural light

For this frosty blue with sliver glitter, I used 2 coats. This probably needed a third though.

And lastly,"It's Frosty Outside"
    Natural light

    Artificial light

This is so pretty and sparkly! It's icy looking and has silver glitter. I used two coats for the photos above.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Don't forget you can see more polish swatches on my Instagram account @polishednubs!

China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection Winter 2013 part 1

Hi guys! So today I have part 1 of China Glaze's winter 2013 collection, Happy HoliGlaze! This collection consists of 6 glitters,5 foils,1 texture and a partridge in a pear tree. That's my attempt at humor, lol! Anyway, on with the show!

This is "So Blue Without You"
    Natural light

This was easy to apply, and unexpected for a holiday collection. I like it though! This is 2 coats.

Here's "Mingle With Kringle"
    Natural light

This gold foil was a bit watery application wise. It actually has small gold flakies in it too. This is 2 coats.

"Bells Will Be Blinging"
    Natural light

Not the best picture, but it's always hard to capture holo! This is a glitter in a clear base and has silver, gold, and blue glitter. The bar glitter is holographic. The glitter payoff was nice and application was good too. This is 1 coat over "Kringle With Mingle".

This is "Your Present Required"
    Natural light

This is a glitter in a clear base and consists of small white, gold and blue glitter along with assorted sized white, gold, purple, blue, and orange hex glitters. It's really a fun glitter!!! This is 1 generous coat over Essie "Tart Deco".

Here's "Be Merry, Be Bright"
    Natural light

    Shade

This has purple and pinky/red coloured hex and small glitters in a clear base. So pretty! Application was good as well. This is 1 generous coat over Essie "The More The Merrier".

Last up is "There's Snow One Like You"
    Natural light

    Natural light.

This is a texture polish, obviously, and it has white hex glitters in it. I can see what China Glaze was trying to do but in my opinion, this isn't for everyday, all day wear. It was a bit hard to work with and snagged on EVERYTHING!!!! I think this would be best if used as snow on a mani that has nail art on it. This is 2 coats.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to find me on Instagram @polishednubs!

Wet n Wild Wild Shine Pop Art Craze Collection

Hi! Today I have Wet n Wild Wild Shine Pop Art Craze Collection! This came out a while ago but I was just able to get my hands on it now! This collection consists of 6 cremes.

Here's "Blank Canvas"
    Natural lighting
This is 2 coats. It is probably one of the best whites I own. Streaky on the first coat but applies beautifully on the second.

This is "The Clock Strikes Orange"
    Natural lighting.
Once again, a great 2 coater with nice application.

This is "Teal Slowly And See".
    Natural lighting.
My favourite blue hands down. This is 2 coats.

Here's "Listening To Blue Reed".
    Natural lighting.
Once again, a gorgeous 2 coater blue.
It also had a good dry time.

This is "Who Is Ultra Violet?"
    Natural lighting.
Isn't this beautiful?! This went on like butter. 2 coats.

Last up is " Stand The Test Of Lime"
    Natural lighting.
As you can see, there is VNL with 2 coats. With a white undie, this is a nice green.

I've seen these retail between $1-$2. If you see them, grab them!! They are totally worth it.

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by!

Sindie POP! and KB Shimmer

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been missing for a while. I started going back to school last month so that's been taking up a lot of my time. Today I have some indie polishes to show you!

First up, Falling:With Style! From Sindie POP!
    Natural Light.

This is supposed to resemble Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. What a perfect match, right?! This is a milky white base with assorted size red, blue, dark and light green glitters. There was no fishing for glitter, and it went on perfect. This is 2 coats with no topcoat.
The next polishes are all from KB Shimmer.

Here's "The Dancing Green".
    Natural light.

This is a green jelly base with assorted sized purple, green and blue circle and square glitters. This is 2 coats no topcoat. I turned the bottle upside for a out a minute before applying to make sure I got some of those squares!

This is "Jack".

    Natural light.

This has been a major lemming for me and I'm so happy I have it now considering it's discontinued! So, this is a  black jelly with black and orange hex,bar and micro circle glitters. No fishing with this one! This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

This is "Would Jubillee It?"

    Natural light.
    Natural light.

Circle glitters!!!!!! This is gorgeous! This is 2 coats over China Glaze "Charmed, I'm Sure". This has assorted sized purple, silver, dark and light blue dots and small bar glitters. It's amazing.

China Glaze Monster's Ball

Hey everyone! It's almost Halloween...who's excited?! I am! My daughter is going as a furby this year lol. Anyway, today I have the Monsters Ball Collection from China Glaze. This is the 2013 Halloween collection. I waited so long for this and I'm glad I'm finally able to swatch it for y'all! I am missing one however and that is the black texture, Bump in The Night.

First up is "Howl You Doin'"
    Natural lighting.
This was so hard to capture. It is a purple jelly with purple and orange flakies. It's a stunner. This was 2 coats.

Here's "Fang-tastic"
    Natural lighting.

"Fang-tastic" is a glitter topper in a clear base and has small pink, green, and blue hex and circle glitters. This is over OPI Black Onyx.

This is "Boo-gie Down"
    Natural lighting.

This is another glitter topper in a clear base and contains various sized white, gold, black, bar, hex and circle glitters. This is over Rimmel "Grey Matter".

This one is "Bat My Eyes".
    Artificial light.

This is a black jelly loaded with different sized gold glitters! My favourite part about this polish is that there's orange bars in here too! You can see them easier in the bottle.

Last up is "Ghoulish Glow"

Pretty disappointing huh? I applied 2 coats, charged them under a light and this was the result. So ya, thumbs down.

That's all! Hope you all have a good Halloween! Be safe out there!
