Influenster Maple VoxBox

Hi! So today I have something a bit different, a Maple VoxBox from Influenster*! This is the first Canadian VoxBox!

*I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster*

First product is Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Flavour Heavenly Crisp

This was actually pretty good. It was really light, it kind of reminded me of a thin Coffee Crisp, just without the coffee flavour. This 19g bar is 100 calories and costs $1.29 per bar, $4.29 per 4 pack.

Next product is Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Dreamy Clusters

Yum! These are delicious! They have crispies and caramel inside. Each 28g pouch is 120 calories. They cost $1.29 per pouch, $4.29 for a 4 pack.

Next is Ice Breakers DUO raspberry flavour

Before I tried these, I expected the mint side to be more overpowering than the fruit side, but I was wrong! Perfect fruit/mint mix! The mint side is white and the fruit side has bumps on it. Reminded me of a cat tongue lol! These also come in strawberry. These cost $1.99.

Next product is received was Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure

So, how ironic is it that a nail blogger would hate free nail samples?! These stick on nails were pre glued. You just had to peel away the backing. It came with a little wipe you use on your nails (I'm assuming to get rid of oils) after washing and drying. The kit came with 24 different sizes nails. These were the best sizes I could find, I even filed them on the sides and the still looked and felt horrible on. These claim to stay on for a week. These probably do stay on for a few days considering when I was trying to remove them, the nails took off a later of my nail with it. For the price, $8.99-$10.99, I wouldn't buy them. The main reason being they damaged my natural nails.

I also received a Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas fabric mask

Here's the face I made to scare my dog and child! Lol! I also feel like Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Anyway, this is a fabric mask infused with clay to cleanse the face. The mask I received has mud, Dead Sea, and sea kelp in it. My face felt really nice after, it was a wee bit drying, but there's nothing that moisturizer can't fix! They only thing I didn't like was that the chin kept slipping off. I would definitely buy these! Each mask costs $2.49

Next is NYC New York Color Big Bold Curl Mascara

This brush is HUGE in real life! This product claims to give your lashes 12x the volume and 99% more lift in one stroke.
No mascara

One coat

Three coats, no curler used!

There wasn't any clumping either. I definitely recomend this. It's only $4.99!

Lastly, NYC New York Color Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss

Another HUGE applicator! I thought it was going to be too big to use but it was fine! This is in colour 468 Big City Blush. This claims to have a high shine that lasts  up to 4 hours, obviously it didn't. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a good product! It had that awesome tingle too!

Not too much colur to it, but that's sometimes nice. It's frosty with a bit of shimmer. I like it! This costs $4.99

China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze 2013

Hey! I have a few more polishes from China Glaze's Happy HoliGlaze Collection! Lets get right into with "Just Be-Claws"
    Natural light.

Hands down, one of my fave reds in my collection! This red foil was perfect in two coats. Also no topcoat and dried pretty fast.

This is "Put A Bow On it"
   Natural light

This is a purple micro glitter in a clear base. Opaque in only two coats! It dried a bit dull so I'm sure a nice thick top coat would bring out the sparkle quite a bit!

That's it for this post, thanks!

Wicked Polish

Hello!! So about over a year ago, I joined the nail community on Instagram and discovered Rylee, AKA, Wicked Polish. Ever since then, any of her polishes have been a lemming for me lol! I finally got two thanks to my nail mail buddy!

Here's the lovely "Drunk In Public"
    Natural light.

This is a white crelly with assorted coloured neon glitters. This totally reminds me of cupcake icing! This is two coats with no topcoat.

Here's "Prowling"
    Natural lighting

This is seriously soo sparkly in real life, it's crazy. This is a blue jelly with holo glitters and stars. It glows faintly, but I wasn't able to capture it. The formula was a bit thick but didn't effect the application. This is two coats, no topcoat.

If you're interested in purchasing from Wicked Polish, you can go to @wickedpolish on Instagram or go to wickedpolish.com.

Glam Polish and Jindie Nails

Hello! I have more swatches for you from 2 great indie companies, Glam Polish and Jindie Nails!

First up is "Indigo" from Glam Polish.
    Natural light.

This is such a gorgeous polish! This a purple base with pink shimmer, pink and turquoise dot and micro glitters! This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Great formula, no glitter fishing and a great dry time!

I have two swatches from Jindie Nails, first is "Water 4 Elephants"

    Natural light.

The name for this is perfect! Grey base with blue and green glitters. Pictured is one coat no topcoat. I probably should've used two, but ill do that another day lol!

This is "Midnight Rainbow".

    Natural light.

Wowza!! Look at those gorgeous dot glitters! (I'm such a sucker!) This is a black jelly with multi-coloured glitter and circles. Absolutely NO fishing at all!!!

Trelly Polish

Hi everyone! I've been so lucky to try my first glitter bomb Trelly Polish's courtesy of my nail mail buddy!

First up is "Pool Toys"
   Natural light.

Look at that! This is one coat over OPI "Skull And Glossbones" and a coat of Seche Vite. I'm in love with these glitters, the black and blue circles, butterflies, and black rectangles are my fave! I left the bottle upside down for a few minutes and didn't have to fish for ANY glitter!

Here's "Monster Mash"
    Natural light.

This is soo fun!! The purple and grey glitters are awesome! This is one generous coat over Wet n Wild Wild Shine "Teal Slowly And See" and a coat of Seche Vite. Such a fun and funky combo!
These were super easy to work with considering the amount of glitter in each bottle. If you're interested in purchasing from Cassie, AKA Trelly Polish, you can find her on Instagram @trellypolish or go to her site trellypolish.bigcartel.com

OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection

Hey everyone! With Christmas fast approaching, I thought I'd share some of the new OPI's from the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection!

First up is "Underneath The Mistletoe"
    Natural light.

A gorgeous red with silver glitter. This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

One of my favourites "I Snow You Love Me"
    Artificial light.

This is big circle holo glitters in a clear base. Pictured is one coat over "Underneath The Mistletoe". I had to leave the bottle upside down for a few minutes to reduce the amount of "glitter fishing".

And this is a full hand of individually placed glitters from "I Snow You Love Me"

Now are some of the Liquid Sands!

This is "Emotions"
    Artificial light.

This is a black liquid sad with black hex glitters. It's got some sparkle to it too! This is two coats.

Next is "Kiss Me At Midnight"
    Artificial light.

    Natural light

For this frosty blue with sliver glitter, I used 2 coats. This probably needed a third though.

And lastly,"It's Frosty Outside"
    Natural light

    Artificial light

This is so pretty and sparkly! It's icy looking and has silver glitter. I used two coats for the photos above.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Don't forget you can see more polish swatches on my Instagram account @polishednubs!

China Glaze Happy HoliGlaze Collection Winter 2013 part 1

Hi guys! So today I have part 1 of China Glaze's winter 2013 collection, Happy HoliGlaze! This collection consists of 6 glitters,5 foils,1 texture and a partridge in a pear tree. That's my attempt at humor, lol! Anyway, on with the show!

This is "So Blue Without You"
    Natural light

This was easy to apply, and unexpected for a holiday collection. I like it though! This is 2 coats.

Here's "Mingle With Kringle"
    Natural light

This gold foil was a bit watery application wise. It actually has small gold flakies in it too. This is 2 coats.

"Bells Will Be Blinging"
    Natural light

Not the best picture, but it's always hard to capture holo! This is a glitter in a clear base and has silver, gold, and blue glitter. The bar glitter is holographic. The glitter payoff was nice and application was good too. This is 1 coat over "Kringle With Mingle".

This is "Your Present Required"
    Natural light

This is a glitter in a clear base and consists of small white, gold and blue glitter along with assorted sized white, gold, purple, blue, and orange hex glitters. It's really a fun glitter!!! This is 1 generous coat over Essie "Tart Deco".

Here's "Be Merry, Be Bright"
    Natural light

    Shade

This has purple and pinky/red coloured hex and small glitters in a clear base. So pretty! Application was good as well. This is 1 generous coat over Essie "The More The Merrier".

Last up is "There's Snow One Like You"
    Natural light

    Natural light.

This is a texture polish, obviously, and it has white hex glitters in it. I can see what China Glaze was trying to do but in my opinion, this isn't for everyday, all day wear. It was a bit hard to work with and snagged on EVERYTHING!!!! I think this would be best if used as snow on a mani that has nail art on it. This is 2 coats.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to find me on Instagram @polishednubs!
