N.Y.C. Too Of The Gold

Happy Easter weekend, everyone! What are you're plans? I'm not feeling well, so my plans consist of waiting for the bunny to come visit my daughter :)

Anyway, I've always wanted a gold flakie topcoat but didn't want to pay $30 for it so when I seen this topcoat from N.Y.C. called "Top Of The Gold" I had to have it! It obviously doesn't contain real gold as some of the others do, but for $1.50 who's complaining?!

I layered one coat over OPI "Malaga Wine" and topcoat. 

Here it is with a matte topcoat.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I'm a sucker for matte topcoat! 

Application was great, lots of glitter came off which is why I only did one coat. I'm pretty sure you could build this up on its own to be opaque. I say it's definitely worth buying if you don't already own a gold flakie topcoat!

Bluebird Nails

Hi everyone! I recently one a giveaway and was super lucky to receive 2 beauties from Ami, creator of Bluebird Nails. And they came all the way to me from Australia to Canada! I received "Romanian Princess" and "Sialia Sialis". 

This is "Romanian Princess"

This is a beautiful almost jelly finish full of shimmer and holo glitter! I used 3 coats with no topcoat. Look how shiny it is!!

Here's "Sialia Sialis"

    Direct sunlight. 

    Shade

A yummy sky blue full of shimmer with blue shreds, blue hexes, blue, green, silver and black small glitters. This dried to semi matte finish on the first coat. This is 2 coats, no topcoat. 

Both of these polishes applied flawlessly and dried really fast, too! I had no problems grabbing glitter either. 

I'm so thrilled I was able to try these out because I really love them!
