OPI haul.

Hi everyone! How's everyone's week going so far? The other day I found a local hair salon that had a OPI sale. They were $5.95 a bottle, but 2, get one free!! Seriously, who could pass that up?! Not me apparently! Lol. I thought i would share a few pictures of what I grabbed.

So, "Don't pretzel my buttons" is a polish I've been wanting forever and couldn't find. It's perfect!
    Direct sunlight.

This is from the Germany collection. Great formula. im so happy i found this!! This is 2 coats.

This is "Too hot pink to hold 'em"
    Indoor lighting.

This is from OPI's Texas collection. This was 2 coats and it is a jelly. It's a cute pinky red colour.

    Direct sunlight.

Here's "Pink-ing of you".
3 coats of a gorgeous baby pink. It's so feminine, I love it!

This is OPI Ink.
    Flash.

    Indoor lighting.

It's super hard to catch this colour on camera. It's a blurple with pink shimmer. It's beautiful! This was 2 coats.

    Natural lighting.

2 coats of "Did it on 'em" from the Nicki Minaj collection. It's a great lime-y colour and it's formula was nice too.

Last but not least is "Skull & Glossbones"
    Natural lighting.

Perfect polish. Formula and application was nice. And the name is even better! How cute?! This is a retired polish from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. It has a bit if a green undertone as well.

Hope you all enjoyed!! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to find me on instagram! @polishednubs

Maybelline Color Show Polka Dot Collection

Hey guys!!! Today I have the ENTIRE Polka Dot collection from Maybelline's Color Show!!
The formula for all five polishes was the same, so from keeping this post repetitive, ill say it now! For all of the swatches I used 3 thin coats. There is four jellies and one clear base with various sized black and white glitters. I applied these polishes as they came off the brush. I didn't dab or place them.

So here is the clear base with glitter and it's called "Clearly Spotted".
This reminds me of Hard Candys "Black Tie Optional" but without the bar glitter.

This is called "Dotty". Halloween anyone?!

Here's "Blue marks the spot". It totally reminds me of blue jeans.

Here's "Pretty in pink". This is so cute and girly!

Last but not least, "Drops of jade".
This is my fave! It's also the most opaque one too.

I grabbed these from walmart for $3.99 CAD each. From what I understand, the UK's version of this collection varies in colours and names! They are cute as well. Thanks for stopping by! If you want to see more swatches and randomness from my life, find me on IG! @polishddnubs

OPI Designer Series

Hey everyone!! So the other day, I stumbled upon a few of OPI's Designer Series (DS) polishes. Love at first sight and not to mention my FIRST holographic polishes!!!

Here's "Extravagence".
    Direct sunlight.
    Direct sunlight.

So this is a gorgeous purple loaded with holo glitters! It's even more stunning in real life. Application was great, dried fast And was opaque in 1 coat but did 2 anyway.

Here's a random bottle shot.

Here "Reflection"
    Direct sunlight.
    Sunlight.
    Indoor lighting.

This one is hard to describe. Red pinky goldish duochrome? Lol! It has scattered holo which is more like flakes.

Last but not least is "Coronation".
    Direct sunlight.
  Direct sunlight.
    Shade.

A fantastic silver and holo glitter polish. This one is probably my favourite so far! I had to 4 coats to get it to my liking, but it's definitely worth it!!

Overall, application and dry time are lovely.  The only thing I didn't like was that I had to use 4 coats for Coronation.
These retail for $12.50 CAD.

I haven't tried any other polishes from the DS Collection, I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! Especially if you have tried any others!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole by O.P.I Gumdrops Collection

Hi guys! Today I have the entire Gumdrop collection from Nicole by O.P.I
(NOPI). This collection consists of 6 textured polishes! All pics are swatched with 2 coats, no topcoat.

First up is "I lilac gumdrops".

    Shade.
    Sunlight.

This is one of my faves by far! It's a gorgeous purple with silver flecks. This could use a third coat.

This one is "My cherry amour".
    Natural light.
    Blurred to show holo glitter.

This 1 is so pretty! Nice red colour with tons of holographic glitter!!

Here's "A-nise treat".

    Natural light.
    Indoor lighting.

Love this! A beautiful black with TONS of silver glitter.
I have Orly FX "Black Pixel" and in the bottles they look quite similar.

Orly is much darker and NOPI has much more glitter.

Here's "Cinna-man of my dreams"

    Outdoor lighting.
    Indoor lighting.

This is a lovely red-brown. I didn't think I was going to like this, but I do! It's very unique!

Lat but not least, "Blue-berry sweet in you".
    Sunlight.
    Indoor lighting.

This one is so pretty! It's a frosty blue, maybe periwinkle colour? Regardless, it rocks!

All of these had awesome formulas and drying times!! The application was great considering they're textured. Are you guys lovin this textured trend? I am!!! Let me know what your thoughts are!!

I picked these up at Walmart for $7.99 each CAD.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Sally Hansen

Hey guys! Today I have 3 polishes from Sally Hansen! I hope to get more from these collections soon, but ill share with you what I have now!
First up is Sally Hansen's Sugar Coat polish in "Cotton Candies". These are textured polishes.

      Top: sunlight bottom:shade

This is a gorgeous pink! So easy to work with. Application was a breeze and opaque in 2 coats. CANNOT WAIT TO GET MORE!!!!! I found this at London Drugs for $7 CAD.

Now I have 2 more polishes from Sally Hansen's Fuzzy Coat collection!!
These are all glitter toppers.

First one (and my fave) is "All Yarned Up".

    Natural light.

    Indoor light.

This is one coat over Revlon's "Jaded". This Fuzzy Coat has blue, orange, and yellow bar glitter.

Next is "Wool Lite".

    Natural light.
    Indoor light.

This is 1 coat over Pure Ice "Jail Bait".
This glitter consists of light pink and white bar glitter.
No fishing with these at all. Lots of glitter and they apply to the nail evenly. Nail would be opaque in probably 3 coats! However, when applied I found that some of my nails got tiny bubbles on them and it seemed like it never dried! I applied the polish in the morning, and by dinner time I was able to smear the polish off with my finger.
I got these from Walmart for $8 CAD.

Thanks for checking out my blog! If you want to see more nail swatches and other randomness, find me on Instagram!! @polishednubs
