OPI Little Peanuts set

Hi guys!! I finally got my hands on OPI's awesome new Halloween 2014 collection, Peanuts!! Released just in time to watch The Great Pumpkin too! I got the mini set which is called "Little Peanuts" and comes with some nail decals.

Look how cute these are!!

First up, "Good Grief!"
    Artificial light

OPI describes it as "The sunny yellow of Charlie Brown's favourite t-shirt". My pic shows it a bit more bright than it actually is, it is EXACTLY the same colour as his shirt, it's great. First coat was a bit streaky, but the second fixed that up.

Next is "To Be Or Not To Beagle"
    Artificial light
(This is colour accurate)

OPI describes this as "Snoopys happy dance of colour in a joyful glitter". Remember his happy dance?! So cute! This glitter topper contains black micro, hex, and bars along with multicoloured hexagon glitters. One coat over Good Grief!

Here's "Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?
    Artificial light

OPI's description is "This stormy black is no match for Lucy's raven hair". When u applied the first coat, it reminded me of a jelly polish, it was opaque in two coats though and dried really fast. This will be my new go to black!

Lastly,"Where's My Blanket???"
    Artificial light

Here's how OPI describes this glitter topper, "Linus awaits the Great Pumpkin in this orange and black glitter". I really like this glitter, great for Halloween but also can be worn year round in my opinion. It contains micro black and hex glitters along with orange and yellow hexagons. I did one coat over a white base plus some dabbing to spread out the coloured glitters a bit better.

I really love this collection, and if you're a Peanuts fan You need this!!

China Glaze Apocalypse Of Color

Hey guys! I was finally able to get my hands on the zombie themed China Glaze Halloween 2014 collection, Apocalypse Of Color! Let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint! It consists of 5 new shades plus Ghoulish Glow which is re released every year. I don't have a swatch of it for you because in my opinion the glow on it is crap.

Here's "Don't Let The Dead Bite"
    Artificial light

This is a pale pink/nude crelly with pink and red hexagons and bar glitter in various sizes. I'm assuming this Is meant to represent blood spatter. It's very well represented and has a great formula. I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

This is "But Of Corpse"
    Artificial light

This is a slime green polish with black glitter and silver shimmer. It dries to a beautiful matte satiny finish, and it's also slightly textured. No applications issues, dried super fast. I used only one coat, no topcoat.

"I Love Your Guts"
    Artificial light

This was my unexpected fave from this collection. It's a lovely pink that I think suits the name really well. Finish and application is the same as "But Of Corpse". Also one coat.

This is "Getting To Gnaw You"
    Artificial light

This is a black, slightly textured polish with orange/copper glitter in it. Fantastic application. 2 coats, no topcoat.

Lastly "Rest In Pieces"
    Artificial light

This is a glitter topper that consists black hexagons, gold and copper bars of various sizes. It's a really beautiful glitter that I didn't think I'd like but I do! I layered one coat over Essie "Fierce, No Fear".

Overall, I LOVE this collection! China Glaze did such a great job this year.

Essie Fall 2014

Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! Today I have 3 beauties from Essie's Fall collection. To avoid repetition, no topcoat was used. Application was good for all, dry time is pretty average.

Here's "Dress To Kilt"
    Artificial light

Gorgeous, creamy red with an awesome name! I used 2 coats. As with most dark colours, it stains cuticles so try to keep it as far away from the skin as possible.

Next is "Take It Outside"
    Artificial light

Take It outside is another creamy 2 coater. I guess for colour wise you could say it's a greige? Not too sure lol but lovely regardless.

Lastly is "Fall In Line"
    Artificial light

Isn't that shine crazy?!! Oh my! I love this green, I have nothing like it in my collection. This too, was 2 coats.

These are great colours for Fall! I really like them. The others from the collection are really pretty as well. I got these from Walmart for $8.99 each.

Thanks for stopping by!
