Nicole by OPI "Party Bus"

Hi everyone! If you had spring break, how was it? I enjoyed 2 weeks off school and now I don't want to go back tomorrow! Hahah! Anyways, I seen at walmart some of nopi's polishes from the Carrie Underwood collection and they are gorgeous! I picked one up called "Party Bus".

    Direct sunlight
    Shade

This is a holo glitter in a clear base. It has assorted sized dots and flower shaped glitters! Fun! It's so pretty and sparkly! I had to fish these glitters out but I recently used it and left the bottle upside down for a few minutes and had no problems grabbing lots of flowers! I layered this over Essie "Spin The Bottle".

There are so many other beauties from this collection. I highly suggest taking a look at them!

Thanks for stopping by and you can also find me on Instagram @polishednubs for more random swatches. :)

China Glaze City Flourish Spring 2014 part 1

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? I spent mine lazing around and cleaning lol. Anyway, I made a recent trip to Sally Beauty Supply and they had a buy one get one free sale on all China Glaze! I figured it was a good time to grab some polishes from this collection.

First up is "Strike A Rose"

    Direct sunlight
    Shade

This is such a gorgeous pink! It has shimmer running thought it too. Application was really good. This is 2 coats with no topcoat... Look how shiny it is, you can see my reflection!! Lol

Here's "Metro Pollen-tin"

    Direct sunlight

This is probably one of the worst polishes I've dealt with formula wise...ever. To be honest, I only grabbed this one because I have no colours like this in my collection. It was extremely streaky, chalky and dried to a semi matte finish. I has to use 3 thick coats for it to look like this. A good thing about it was that it did dry pretty fast considering the amount of polish used.

Last up is "What A Pansy"

    Direct sunlight

I had such a problem photographing this, but I assure you it's a very beautiful lavender! It looks a wee but different in the bottle than on the nail. And the name is awesome! I had no issues with application. This is 3 coats.

I can't wait to try out the rest of the polishes from this collection! Have you tried any? What are your favourites?

Rainbow Honey's Magic Cake

Hey everyone!! I was recently lucky enough to win a Instagram Giveaway and one of the prizes was Rainbow Honey "Magic Cake"!! I was super excited because I've not tried any of their polishes before and have only good things about their products!

    Natural light

This is one coat over a black base. Look at that! No fishing or dabbing, great dry time as well.

Here's a macro!

Oooh!! Aaah!!! I'll leave you with your thoughts. Lol :p

Revlon Parfumerie

Hello!! Quick post for you today which includes some new (for me :) ) shades from Revlons Parfumerie collection.
Application for all polishes was fantastic!

Here's "Ginger Melon"

    Natural light

my camera freaked out with this pink, so it's not exactly colour accurate. It's much more pink in real life! Very gorgeous! This one kind of smells like fruit punch to me, very yummy! This is 2 coats, no topcoat

This is "Tropical Rain"

    Natural light

I love this one so much! Probably because it reminds me a lot of Essie's "Bikini So Teeny" which is one of my fave blues of all time. This also has a lighter blue shimmer in it, unfortunately hard to capture on a camera phone. I can only describe the scent as clean/fresh smell. I used 3 coats, no topcoat.

Lastly is "Lime Basil"

    Natural light

I'm usually not a fan if green but this is a definite win! And it smells delicious, te minds me of a Mojito!! Mmm! This is 2 coats no topcoat!

I snagged these from Walmart for $5.99 CAD each.

OPI Push and Shove

Hey everyone! Have any plans for the weekend? I don't haha! Except maybe watch some Supernatural :p Anyway, I was finally able to find OPI's "Push and Shove" from the Gwen Stefani collection!
The polish came with a small bottle of base coat called "Lay Down That Base".

The instructions were very specific stating to apply a thin coat of "Lay Down That Base". After dry, apply 2 thin coats of "Push and Shove" without topcoat.

    Direct sunlight
    Shade

I love this polish! It does show every single imperfection on your nail, big or small. The instructions state that this is supposed to last only one day. So, I figured I'd post a photo of what my nails look like now.

    Left hand
    Right hand

This is after my "spring cleaning". I'm talking mopping, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, sinks and bathtub. I even helped my cousin move and cleaned my 5 year olds bedroom which, by the way, looked like a bomb went off in it.  So all in all, it held up pretty good I think! Application was brush stroke-y but dried pretty fast. I picked this up at London Drugs for $10.99 CAD.

Hope y'all enjoyed!

Essie Hide & Go Chic Spring 2014 Collection

Hey guys! Today I have 2 polishes from Essie's new spring collection, Hide & Go Chic.

First is the namesake polish, "Hide & Go Chic"

    Natural light

This polish looks a bit different on the nails then it does in the bottle. Regardless, it's a gorgeous blue! This is 3 coats, no topcoat.

Here's "Spin The Bottle"

    Natural light

This was the polish I was most excited about from this collection because I'm a sucker for nudes! It's a little sheer but builds up easy. I used 3 coats, no topcoat.

I grabbed these from walmart for about $9 CAD each.

Thanks for checking out this post!

Polish Addict Nail Color

Hi everyone! I recently placed an order with one of my favourite indie polish companies, Polish Addict Nail Color. Not only do they have some of the best customer service I've ever seen, they also make some rad crelly polishes!!

So, first up is "Romeo"

    Natural light.

This is a grey crelly with blue, black, and white glitters in various shapes and sizes.  The blue and grey make for a beautiful combination. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos.

Lastly is "Cupid's TKO"

    Indoor lighting.

Yes, it's that beautiful in real life. I'm even wearing it right now :p this is a white crelly with black, blue, grey, purple, pink, white and holo glitters in various shapes and sizes, even chunky bars!!! If I had to recommend any PANC polish, it would be this right here. This is 3 coats plus topcoat.
