OPI Glitter Off

Hey guys! Today I'm reviewing OPI 's Glitter Off base coat. I heard it's being discontinued, so if you don't have it yet and want it, grab it when you see it! 

I'm sure most of you have been hearing a lot of buzz lately about using Elmer's white glue as a base coat before applying a dense glitter polish for easy, peel off removal. That's pretty much what Glitter Off is, it doesn't smell like polish. It smells exactly like white glue. 

So this is what it looks like as it's drying. My pinky nail is completely dry. The drying seem to begin at the tip of the nail. That's why it looks like I have major shrinkage going on lol. It took about 3 minutes to dry completely.

Instructions say not to use base coat under this and I recomend that as well. I tried that and wrinkled the Glitter Off. It was really weird! 

Here it is completely dry. ( please excuse my stained nails! )

I used Essie's Ignite The Night. It's a really dense glitter that's opaque in three coats. It came off super easy, I used a orange stick to pick at the side of the nail and it pretty much popped off! (PS- this is an old pic I was saving for this blog post, that's why my nail shapes don't match!)

Essence Cookies & Cream Collection

Hello everyone! Today I have 3 of the 4 polishes from Essence's limited edition collection, Cookies & Cream. This collection is neutral shimmers, I think! 😜 

Each polish came with a little pack of decals! 

First up is "Last Night A Cookie Saved My Life"

I used 2 coats for the photos above plus topcoat. Of course I had to apply one of the cookie decals the polish came with! First coat was a bit streaky, but the second cleared that up. One thing all the polishes did was it showed all the grooves in my nails. Oh well! 

Here's "Macron, C'est Bon!"

    Artificial lighting 

This is probably my fave of the collection! It's so pretty! I used 2 coats plus topcoat.   The application and dry was good. 

Lastly, "Yummy! Yummy!"

This was also opaque in 2 coats which is awesome! The macro isn't very colour accurate, unfortunately. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

Opi Ford Mustang

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been super busy. I finally found 2 polishes from OPI 's Ford Mustnag collection!! I was so excited when I seen them lol

First is "Girls Love Ponies"

    Shade

    Sunlight

Guys... Best.pink.evaaa!! Seriously haven't been so happy with a pink polish in a while! Formula and dry time was good, nice and creamy. 3 coats plus topcoat for the photos above. 

Lastly, "Queen Of The Road"

This polish is stunning! It looks blackish but when I removed it, the pad was dark green lol so I'm stumped! It also has these beautiful specks in it. It dries somewhat matte. This is 2 coats, no topcoat. 

I'm hoping to grab the rest of this collection soon! What do you think of it?

Baked Mini Collection from Orly

Hey guys! To my canadian friends, I hope you all had a great Canada Day! To my American friends, what are your plans for Independence Day? 

I recently got a mini Baked Collection from Orly which consists of 4 polishes. I think there's 6 all together but I may be wrong. 

First up is "Saturated"

This is a gorgeous deep purple, almost jelly like and dries to a semi matte finish. I used 3 coats plus topcoat. 

Here's "Tropical Pop"

My camera FREAKED OUT taking these pics. These were the 2 best lol. It's an awesome neon but, unfortunately, gave me the most problems while applying. Other than that, great polish! 2 coats plus topcoat. 

This is "Hot Tropics"

Soo pretty!! Bright Fuschia with gold shimmer, love it! Formula was good. 2 coats plus topcoat. 

Lastly, "Ablaze"

This bright coral with gold shimmer is my fave from this collection. Absolutely lovely! Formula was good for this one as well. This is 2 coats plus topcoat.
